Order cancellation is usually possible before the order is shipped. In some cases, limited cancellation options may be available after shipment, depending on the item, seller, and delivery stage. This guide walks you through each scenario step by step so you know exactly what to do.

LootBia’s Help Center is available in multiple languages for customer convenience.

To change the language:

  • On desktop: Use the language selector available at the top of the page.
  • On mobile app: Tap the profile icon, go to Settings, and select your preferred language.

The instructions below remain the same regardless of the selected language.


How to Cancel Orders (Before Shipment)

If your order has not yet been shipped, you can usually cancel it directly from your account without contacting customer support.

Cancel an Order on Desktop (Website)

  1. Sign in to your LootBia account.
  2. Click on “Your Orders” from the top navigation menu.
  3. Locate the order you want to cancel.
  4. Click “Cancel Items” next to the order.
  5. Select the item(s) you wish to cancel.
  6. Choose a reason for cancellation (optional but helpful).
  7. Click “Confirm Cancellation”.

Once confirmed, the cancellation request is processed immediately if the order is still eligible.


Cancel an Order on Mobile App

  1. Open the LootBia app and log in.
  2. Tap the menu icon and select “Your Orders”.
  3. Find the order you want to cancel.
  4. Tap “Cancel Items”.
  5. Select the item(s) to be cancelled.
  6. Choose a cancellation reason.
  7. Tap “Confirm” to submit your request.

You will see a confirmation message once the cancellation is successful.


How to Cancel Orders (After Shipment)

Once an order has been shipped, direct cancellation may no longer be available. However, you still have options depending on the order status.

Request Cancellation After Shipment

If the option is available:

  • Go to Your Orders
  • Select the shipped order
  • Click “Request Cancellation”

This request is forwarded to the seller or delivery partner. Approval depends on whether the shipment can be intercepted before delivery.

Refusing Delivery (If Applicable)

If cancellation after shipment is not possible:

  • You may refuse delivery at the time the delivery agent contacts you.
  • The item will be returned to the seller automatically.

Important: Refusing delivery should only be used when advised on the order page. Not all orders are eligible for refusal.


Seller-Fulfilled Orders

Some products on LootBia are shipped directly by third-party sellers.

Key Points to Know

  • Cancellation time limits may be shorter for seller-fulfilled orders.
  • Once a seller begins processing the order, cancellation may require seller approval.
  • In some cases, the seller may reject cancellation if dispatch is already complete.

If a cancellation request is pending seller approval, you will see the status updated in Your Orders.


Partial Cancellation

LootBia allows partial cancellation when your order contains multiple items.

How Partial Cancellation Works

  • You can cancel one or more items while keeping the rest of the order active.
  • The cancelled items are removed from the order.
  • Remaining items continue to be processed and delivered as usual.

Partial cancellation is available only if the selected items have not been shipped.


Combined Shipments

Sometimes, multiple items are packed and shipped together.

What Happens if You Cancel One Item

  • If items are shipped together and one item is cancelled before shipment, the remaining items may still ship together.
  • If cancellation is requested after shipment, cancellation eligibility depends on whether the shipment can be split.

If the items cannot be separated, you may be advised to refuse delivery or initiate a return after delivery, where applicable.


Refund Information (High-Level Overview)

If your cancellation is successful, any eligible refund is processed automatically.

Refund Method

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used while placing the order.
  • For Cash on Delivery orders, refunds may be issued to your bank account or LootBia wallet, as applicable.

Note: Refund processing times vary based on payment method and bank processing standards.


Important Notes & Exceptions

Please review the following important points before cancelling:

  • The Cancel Items option may not appear if the order is already packed or shipped.
  • Customized, made-to-order, or special sale items may not be eligible for cancellation.
  • Flash sale or limited-stock items may have restricted cancellation windows.
  • If a delivery agent contacts you for delivery, cancellation may no longer be possible through the app or website.

How to Check Cancellation & Refund Status

Check Cancellation Status

  1. Go to Your Orders.
  2. Select the relevant order.
  3. View the current status under order details.

You will see updates such as:

  • Cancellation requested
  • Cancellation approved
  • Cancellation completed

Check Refund Status

  1. Visit Your Orders or Your Transactions.
  2. Select the cancelled item.
  3. View refund status and payment reference details.
